Alex Palou was fastest in the warmup session for Sunday’s NTT IndyCar Series race at the Thermal Club. Palou’s lap of 110.009 was done on soft tires.
The fastest time on hard tires was Josef Newgarden who posted a 109.388. Thirteen of the 14 fastest laps were done on soft tires.
Polesitter Pato O’Ward’s fastest lap of 1:08.106 mph was only good enough for 19th.
The NTT IndyCar Series race from Thermal Club will air on FOX at 3:00 pm ET.
