Corey Heim won his second NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race of the season on Friday night at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Corey Day began the Ecosave 200 on the pole with Justin Haley and Tyler Ankrum both leading a lap early. William Sawalich would head to the pits early after making heavy contact with the wall. With Ty Majeski leading, caution would come out with five laps to go in the stage due to moisture at the track. Majeski would win the stage under caution and pitstops would follow. Shortly after the red flag was displayed and trucks were brought down pit road.
The race would resume with Tyler Ankrum finishing the stage ahead of Chandler Smith, Stewart Friesen, Corey Heim, and Ben Rhodes to complete the top five. Corey Heim would emerge as the leader after pitstops but rain would return to the track resulting in a second red flag.
Heim would go onto win the race, his second of the season. The win is the 13th in the career of Heim in the series.
