Sammy Smith earned the pole for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
With a lap of 29.435, the driver of the No. 8 was fastest in Friday’s qualifying session. He will be joined by his JR Motorsports teammate Carson Kvapil on the front row. Another JR Motorsports car will start third with Connor Zilisch with Taylor Gray and Sam Mayer rounding out the top five.
