Josef Newgarden posted the fastest lap of Sunday’s IndyCar warmup session at St. Petersburg.
The session was largely without incident. One notable moment came when pole sitter Scott McLaughlin went off course and had to maneuver to return to the racing surface. Later in the session the same would happen to teammate Will Power.
The first race of the 2025 NTT IndyCar Series season will air on FOX beginning at 12:00 pm today.
