Martin Truex Jr. placed the No. 19 Toyota Camry on the pole for Sunday’s running of the Xfinity 500.
Martinsville Speedway offers the final chance for drivers to earn entry into next weekend’s championship race at Phoenix Raceway. With wins in the previous two races Tyler Reddick and Joey Logano are already in the championship four with the final two spots being decided in this weeks event. Christopher Bell (+29) and William Byron (+7) are above the cutline while Kyle Larson (-7), Denny Hamlin (-18) are just outside while Ryan Blaney (-38) and Chase Elliott are going to need either a win or some serious help.
Coverage of the Xfinity 500 will air on NBC beginning at 2:00 pm ET.
