Shane Van Gisbergen began Saturday’s Xfinity Series race on the pole and after passing Kyle Larson on the final lap of stage one would claim the first stage win.
Midway though the second stage of The Loop 110 a difference of strategy would put the two favorites in the back of the field as Austin Hill would win the second stage.
Van Gisbergen would work his way though the field assuming the lead from Jesse Love with three to go.
