The tough first year of Christian Rasmussen continued on Saturday.
Rasmussen took his car off the track and into a tire barrier.

Following the crash the driver noted a tight line. The Ed Carpenter Racing team previously had to make an engine change to the car driven by Rinus VeeKay.
