The New England Patriots reminded veteran running back Ty Montgomery of the harshness of the NFL waiving him on Friday, a day after the team defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 21-18.
Montgomery was responsible for a blocked punt in the fourth quarter that led to the Steelers scoring a touchdown and getting back into the game.
The team announced the signing of Christian Elliss in a corresponding move.
