Sammy Smith began the race on the pole after setting the fast time in Friday’s qualifying session. Justin Allgaier would grain the lead when Smith pitted on lap 44 for an incident involving Ryan Sieg. Allgaier would win the first stage.
Smith would inherit the lead when Allgaier pitted for the stage break. A few laps later Layne Riggs got turned by Cole Custer in the back of the pack. Sieg would spin on lap 88 to bring out yet another caution. Smith would win the second stage as John Hunter Nemechek clinched his way into the champion four.
The third stage featured back and forth and close racing between several playoff hopefuls. Anthony alfredo would spin on lap 237 to bring out a caution. A few laps later with six laps to go a red flag would come out due to contact between multiple cars in the back of the field which was a result of racing at the front of the pack.

On the final restart of the race Sheldon Creed would wreck teammate Austin Hill allowing Allgaier to get the win and advance. The move also knocked Hill out of the playoffs with Custer getting the final spot.
Unofficially, advancing to the championship round are Sam Mayer, John Hunter Nemechek, Allgaier and Custer.
Austin Hill, Sammy Smith, Chandler Smith and Sheldon Creed all failed to advance to the championship race.
