Bears quarterback Justin Fields’ status for Week 7 is doubtful according to head coach Matt Eberflus.

The Bears figure to know whether or not Fields will need surgery in the coming days. His thumb was injured after he landed on his right arm during a sack by Vikings defensive end Danielle Hunter.
Tyson Bagent made his NFL debut in place of Fields on Sunday and finished the day 10 of 14 for 83 yards with an interception and a 1-yard QB sneak on the Bears only touchdown drive.
