Shane van Gisbergen is coming to NASCAR in 2024 after singing a deal with Trackhouse Racing which will put the 34-year-old in events across the Cup, Xfinity and Craftmsan Truck Series.
“This announcement means so many things to me,” Van Gisbergen said in a team release. “I’m proud of what I have achieved here in Australia, but I’m excited by this new chapter in my career and the opportunities that it brings.”
In addition to the NASCAR events, van Gisbergen will also compete in some late model and select other events.
Earlier this year van Gisbergen pulled off an improbable win in his first ever start in NASCAR winning the inaugural Chicago Street Race. He later finished 10th at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.
