Marcus Ericsson, 2022 winner of the Music City Grand Prix, was fastest during the second practice session on wet tires.
The second practice session was hampered by rain forcing television coverage to be filled by a James Hinchcliffe Mayor on the Streets session where he attempted to get drivers to sing popular songs.
At 12:30 pm (11:30 am local) IndyCar began a reduced 30 minute practice session.
