Jacob Abel was the fastest in the second Indy NXT practice of the weekend at Nashville.
Weather was a concern in the session, though is not expected to be an issue for Sunday’s race. As rain fell several drivers would find themselves off track ultimately resulting in an early red flag where teams began to switch to rain tires.

Additionally, almost the entire first practice session on Friday was run in rain conditions.
Qualifying for the race will take place at 2 pm ET, after IndyCar practice.
