Conor Daly will return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series next weekend at the Indianapolis Road Course.
Daly will drive the No. 44 of Alpha Prime Racing in the Aug. 12 race.
This season Daly has run a pair of Cup Series events already. Earlier this year he lost his ride at Ed Carpenter Racing and was recently used as a fill in for Simon Pagenaud following his practice crash at Mid-Ohio.

“Really appreciate (Alpha Prime Racing) giving me a chance to race at my home track on Brickyard weekend,” Daly wrote on Twitter Tuesday morning. “Will be fun to compete in the NASCAR Xfinity series again! Could still use some associate sponsors on this deal, so hit us up if you want to be involved.”
The No. 44 car has had a revolving door of drivers this season as the team attempts to stay on the track.
