Jacob Abel scored the pole for Saturday’s Indy NXT race at Iowa Speedway.
Christian Rasmussen was the fastest in the Indy NXT Series practice session earlier in the day, he will start second in the race. Rasmussen enters the weekend 16 points behind Nolan Siegel in the point standings.
Matthew Brabham will start 11th driving the No. 75 of Juncos Hollinger Racing in a one-off after the team parted ways with Matteo Nannini.
Iowa’s NXT race will take place at 11:00 am ET on Saturday. Coverage of that race will air on Peacock.
