John Hunter Nemechek won the Alsco Uniforms 250 on Saturday night at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Chandler Smith began the Xfinity Series race on the pole. On the final lap of the first stage Riley Herbst made the move to the outside of leader Josh Berry to win the stage with Smith finishing third. Justin Haley and Austin Hill rounded out the top-five. The second stage would go to Sheldon Creed.
Herbst would start a 10 car accident on lap 88 after losing a left rear tire. Sam Mayer, Blaine Perkins, Sheldon Creed, Brennan Poole, Brandon Jones, Kyle Weatherman, Ryan Sieg, Anthony Alfredo and Josh Williams all took damage in the incident. Justin Haley moved to the lead prior to the incident.
With two laps to go Hill would be turned. Nemechek would grab the lead on the restart with Daniel Hemric chasing after in his tracks. Nemechek would cross the line first ahead of Hemric, Cole Custer, Haley and Mayer.
