Colton Herta will be working with his third different strategist of the 2023 NTT IndyCar Series season.
Andretti Autosport COO Rob Edwards, who had been working with the No. 29 of Devlin DeFrancesco, will become the third strategist for Herta this season following Scott Harner and Bryan Herta.
At the last IndyCar race, Herta scored a pole at Road America and appeared poised for a victory before having to save fuel late saw his then lead turn into a fifth-place finish.
With the move Harner, who began the season with the No. 27 of Kyle Kirkwood, will now move onto his third team taking over as the strategist for DeFrancesco.
All indications are that Andretti Autosport will continue to field four cars next season however DeFrancesco is one of many IndyCar free agents leaving open a possible seat next season.
