The Long Island Ducks announced on Tuesday that they had signed Wilson Ramos.
Ramos has spent 12 years in the majors and now will head to Long Island in an attempt to restart his MLB career after appearing in just three minor league games last season following a torn ACL in 2021.

He is slated to be in tonight’s starting lineup, batting sixth and serving as the designated hitter.

Soon to be 36, Ramos is a two-time MLB All-Star with a career .271/.318/.432 line with 136 big league homers and 534 RBI.
