Carson Hocevar scores second career win in Rackley Roofing 200, Nashville Truck Series Results

Carson Hocevar went to victory lane on Friday night for the second time in his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series career winning the Rackley Roofing 200 at Nashville Superspeedway.

Nick Sanchez began a race on the pole for the third time this season. The first caution at the 1 1/3-mile track occurred on lap five when Hailie Deegan got loose after hitting the apron collecting Lawless Alan and Jack Wood.

Alan would blow a tire to bring out the second caution as Sanchez would again be at the front of the field but a charging Rajah Caruth would take the lead on lap 32 as they caught the back of the field. Smith would reassume the lead on lap 37 with Zane Smith following around Caruth who would find himself pitting two laps later with no fuel pressure. The stage would end with Smith as the winner.

Corey Heim would be the first truck off pit road and he would lead them to the green flag to start stage two. Ty Majeski would pull to the apron on lap 74 with what was called an electrical issue. On lap 85 Stewart Friesen would bring out a caution after going around. Daniel Dye would get loose and spin on lap 93 clipping Layne Riggs who would collect Bret Holmes as well. The second stage ended under caution with Heim, Carson Hocevar, Matt DiBenedetto, Zane Smith and Ben Rhodes rounding out the top-five.

Dean Thompson would bring out the first caution of the final stage when he spun after making contact with Christian Eckes. Hocevar would assume the lead on the restart getting around Heim after a push from Smith. With 10 laps to go Friesen would get loose bumping Grant Enfinger and then spinning out with Eckes. Hocevar would stay out while some further in the back stayed out. On the restart Hocevar would get the jump as Sanchez on fresh tires moved up to third. Hocevar stayed out front as Smith held off Sanchez. Heim and Currey rounded out the top-five.
