William Sawalich got around Jesse Love coming to the white flag leading the final two laps to win at Berlin Raceway.
The win by Sawalich prevented Love from winning four straight ARCA Menards Series races. It also marked his first win in ARCA’s top series.
“[The pass] was a little bit more dirty than I wanted it [to be], but it’s the last lap,” Sawalich said. “I’ve had that happen to me before and [Love] totally had a lap to get me back. I didn’t think we’d be able to get him, but lapped cars helped for sure.”

Sawalich, Love and Sean Hingorani were the only three cars to finish the race on the lead lap. Andres Perez de Lara and Toni Breidinger both finished a lap down to round out the top-five.
The ARCA Menards Series will compete at Elko Speedway next week for the Menards 250.
