Christian Weir scored his first career USF Pro 2000 pole with a time of 2:01.707 at Road America. Weir will now lead the field to the green flag for Sunday’s race No. 2.
Michael d’Orlando previously scored the pole for USF 2000 Pro Race No. 1 on Friday. That race will be held later today at 2:30 pm ET.

Weir’s pole time came on the final lap of qualifying at the newly paved 14-turn Road America road course. The race will take place at 9:00 am ET on Sunday morning.
TJ Speed Motorsports placed three drivers in the top six with Weir, Lirim Zendeli (third), and Francesco Pizzi (sixth). Matching them with three drivers in the top six was Turn 3 Motorsport with d’Orlando (second), Louka St-Jean (fourth) and Jonathan Browne (fifth).
