Chase Elliott driving “Desi9n to Drive” scheme at Atlanta

A partnership between the Chase Elliott Foundation, NAPA and Hendrick Motorsports will see the seventh edition of the “Desi9n to Drive” scheme benefitting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Elliott will drive the car with a scheme created by two cancer patients at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta for the July 9 race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The designs were created by 11-year-old Alex Corbin and 13-year-old Kayleb Duran-Rodriguez.

Corbin has underwent surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, MRI tests, therapy and now wears hearing aids due to the effects of chemotherapy treatments after he was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Duran-Rodriguez was diagnosed with leukemia in 2020. The designs show their love for campfires, family and friends.
