Mike Bugarewicz will serve as the crew chief for Chase Briscoe at World Wide Technology Raceway.
Bugarewicz will be the crew chief of the No. 14 Ford Mustang after John Klausmeier was suspended for six races following an inspection of Briscoe’s car from the Coca-Cola 600 showed a counterfeit part.
Currently Bugarewicz had been serving as the performance director at Stewart-Haas Racing after previously serving as the crew chief of the No. 10 car with Aric Almirola.
Briscoe was docked 120 points for the regular season and 25 playoff points, should he advance. With the penalty Briscoe fell from just outside the top 16 to 31st and finds himself in must win territory if he is to make the playoffs.
