Rain began falling on the 1.5-mile Charlotte Motor Speedway ahead of Saturday’s running of the Alsco Uniforms 300.
As coverage began on FS1 Xfinity Series cars were shown on pit road covered. Drivers, while in race suits, were interviewed and activity on pit road was almost nonexistent.
Green flag was scheduled for 12:09 pm ET. NASCAR has not provided an update about plans for the race.

Rain is in the forecast for Charlotte for both Saturday and Sunday.
