Jim Brown, a man whose name defines the running back position, died Thursday at his Los Angeles home.
Brown, 87, was more than jut a football player as he retired at the prime of his career to become an actor and a civil rights advocate.

A hall of famer, Brown ran for 12,312 yards and 106 touchdowns. He was an eight time All-Pro and was selected to nine Pro Bowls.
