The Mets will not have David Peterson pitched at Triple-A on Tuesday.
Instead Peterson has been sent to join the Mets in Cincinnati in case a starting pitcher is needed according to Mike Mayer.
David Peterson was supposed to start tonight for Triple-A Syracuse, but that is no longer the case. He has traveled to Cincinnati in case the Mets need a starter.
Max Scherzer is the Mets current listed starter for tonight.

The Mets have Max Scherzer listed as their starting pitcher, however he has been dealing with some discomfort near his shoulder. It is possible that the Mets have Peterson in line in case Scherzer is unable to go.
Peterson has made six starts for the Mets this season struggling to a 1-4 record and a 7.34 ERA, 1.57 WHIp, and 36/10 K/BB ratio.
Expect more information about this shortly.
