Yankees slugger Aaron Judge has been out of the lineup since Thursday.
On Monday the 31-year-old took some swings in batting practice but has landed on the injured list. The placement of Judge on the injured list is retroactive to April 28.
Franchy Cordero has been recalled from Triple-A and placed on the active roster. If Judge was taking swings today one would surmise that he will be back sooner rather than later.
Though 26 games this season Judge is hitting .261/.352/.511 with six homers and 14 RBI.
