Chase Briscoe surgery completed on finger

Chase Briscoe underwent surgery early Monday morning on his broken left middle finger.

The injury occurred on April 6 when Briscoe made contact with the wall during qualifying for a dirt late model race.

Briscoe’s wife Marissa shared the news that the 28-year-old driver had completed surgery on Monday morning.

Briscoe later shared a video thanking fans and giving some additional information about the surgery.

Briscoe also announced that he would not be taking part in the dirt race on the Talladega Short Track as a driver, though he will be watching.
