Bowman on pole after rain washes out Cup qualifying, Toyota Owners 400 Lineup

Alex Bowman will start at the front of the field for the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway as the starting lineup for the NASCAR Cup Series race scheduled for Sunday was set by the rule book following rain.

Bowman currently is the Cup Series point leader and he will be joined on the front row by Kyle Busch. William Byron, Ross Chastain, and Tyler Reddick will round out the top five.

The cancellation of qualifying was not a surprise as earlier in the day qualifying for the Xfinity Series was also cancelled due to the weather giving Justin Allgaier the pole for the Toyota Care 250.

Coverage of the Toyota Owners 400 will air on FS1 beginning at 3:30 pm ET on Sunday. MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will have the radio call.
