Bailey Zappe did not draw the start for the New England Patriots on Sunday but the rookie quickly found himself on the field.
Zappe was called into action in the first quarter after Brian Hoyer suffered a head injury.
Hoyer was 5-of-6 for 37 yards before leaving the game. Zappe’s first pass was an incompletion.
