NASCAR has denied the sponsor LGBcoin.io on the No. 68 Xfinity Series entry of Brandon Brown.
Brown announced the sponsorship last week but almost immediately NASCAR claimed the scheme was never approved.
James Koutoulas, a self described HODLer, has already shared with his twitter followers emails that show the sponsor and a attached scheme being initially approved.
The @brandonbrown_68 went through proper @NASCAR approval process and received formal written approval. If @nascar revokes approval, we will bring suit upon them on behalf of all @LGBcoin_io HODLers who were damaged by their reliance on @nascar written approval & #cancelnascar https://t.co/Tt2dIhWhkS pic.twitter.com/3ooI4VTSMG

Brown has had difficulty attracting sponsors following his first career win at Talladega last fall when NBC Sports reporter Kelli Stavast incorrectly stated that the crowd was chanting “Let’s Go Brandon” following the race.
Thus far Brown has not released a statement about NASCAR’s decision.
