Mark Reynolds announced on Thursday that he had retired from baseball.
Prior to MLB shuttering due to Coronavirus, Reynolds had not been signed to any teams roster.

Reynolds appeared in 78 games last season during his second stint with the Rockies hitting just .170/.290/.311 with four homers.
In 13 seasons spent between the Diamondbacks, Orioles, Brewers, Cardinals, Rockies and Nationals, Reynolds appeared in 1688 games with a .236/.328/.453 line and 298 career home runs. He led the league in strike outs four seasons in a row (2008-2011).
His 223 strikeouts in 2009 is still a major league record.
