All three of NASCAR’s top series will be in action this weekend at Dover. The Monster Mile sits in Dover, Delaware, with the concrete track in the shadow of Miles the Monster.
Since opening in 1969, Dover International Speedway has been a fixture on the NASCAR schedule. At it’s height in popularity the track could seat upwards of 140,000 but today that number has been reduced to 85,000 though less are expected to appear on race day.
On track activity begins on Thursday with truck practice. Races follow thoughout the weekend with the trucks running Friday evening, with Xfinity and Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series racing following on Saturday and Sunday.
