The Doosan Bears of the Korean Baseball Organization have signed Nick Evans.
Evans, 30, spent last season in Triple-A with the Diamondbacks organization. He totaled a .310/.381/479 with 17 home runs.

Inked to a minor league deal by the Padres recently, Evans must view the opportunity to play in Korea a better fit financially. He is a name to keep an eye on for next season should he put up big numbers.
