The Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals are not willing to pay the price to acquire running back Adrian Peterson from the Minnesota Vikings reports Yahoo’s Charles Robinson.
“Dallas has not even spoken to Minnesota regarding Peterson,” wrote Robinson who added that the Cardinals are not willing to give up a first round pick.
The Cardinals are said to have offered a mid-to-late second round pick for Peterson but Vikings general manager Rick Spielman has turned it down. Robinson believe that Spielman fully wants Peterson in a Vikings uniform for the upcoming season.
Peterson played just one game last season before being suspended for the season.
Should be noted: #Vikings have said publicly & privately, he plays for them or no one. Would take a lot to tempt them. Maybe too much.
