The Sprint Unlimited will be run next weekend but the roster of drivers who are set to race in the event continues to change.

After Brian Vickers, Brian Scott and A.J. Allmendinger all pulled out of the event three new drivers have been added. NASCAR has added the next three drivers in the point standings to the event which means Clint Bowyer, Paul Menard and Casey Mears will all get t race next weekend.

Vickers, eligable after winning a pole, dropped out of the event after he underwent corrective heart surgery. Scott won a pole at Talladega but Richard Childress Racing will not run a car for him. JTD Daugherty’s Tad Geschickter said they would be unable to field the No. 47 for Allmendinger due to a lack of sponsorship.

The Sprint Unlimited will take place on Saturday Feb. 14 from Daytona International Speedway with coverage beginning at 7:00 pm ET.
