Marshawn Lynch to get raise if he returns to Seahawks

Marshawn Lynch is nearing 30 but so far has shown no signs of slowing down.

After leading the NFL with 17 touchdowns it is becoming more and more clear that the sometimes crass running back will be welcomed back by the Seahawks.

Of course if the Seahawks want Lynch to return they are going to have to pay him. Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio suggests an improved contract – above the $5 million plus $2.5 million – will be needed.

Lynch ran for 1306 yards last season averaging 4.7 yards per carry. Of his 17 touchdowns, 13 came on the ground.
