New York Jets running back Chris Johnson has been arrested for openly carrying a weapon in Orange County, Florida. Johnson’s offense came on Friday night.
While the offense is just a second-degree misdemeanor it does not help the chances of Johnson sticking with the Jets for next season.

At best Johnson is a role player going forward. He averaged 4.3 yards per carry last season, a number which was aided by a few long runs. Johnson has always been a swing for the fences type back and the Jets can save $3.75 million against the cap for next season by parting ways with him.
