Landing spots for Scherzer are dwindling with the Yankees ruling themselves out yesterday and the Cardinals saying the same earlier in the week.
Scherzer finished 2014 with 18 wins, a 3.15 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP. He is said to be looking at a deal in the $200 million range.
