The season of Titans safety Bernard Pollard is over after the team placed him on injured reserve with a ruptured Achilles.
George Wilson will take over Pollard’s role of strong safety. The 29-year-old Pollard had played well prior to going down recording 27 tackles and a sack.
Pollard left Sunday’s game on crutches and by Monday had already been ruled out for the rest of the season.
He has one year left on his current contract at $3.1 million.
