Josh Gordon has landed a new job. Gordon will serve as a goodwill ambassador for the Sarchione Auto Group in Ohio.
Last season the 23-year-old gordon led the NFL in receiving yards despite being suspended for the first two games of the season. Gordon has been suspended for the entire 2014 season.
While Gordon will also work as a salesman, his main job was be to expand on the community efforts for Sarhione which include the Wounded Warrior Project. ESPN reports that gordon will start his new job this weekend.
“Due to the rules of the suspension, we’re not allowed to have contact with him,” Browns coach Mike Pettine told reporters Thursday.
“We’re just finding that out that out as well,” he said. “That’s something I don’t really want to get into because I want to discuss the guys that are here … Internally we want what’s best for him. We just hope for that to occur.”
Gordon is not allowed to be present for any games or practices and is still subject to the NFL’s random drug testing.
