The Kansas City Royals did not expect close Greg Holland to pitch Monday night as they entered the ninth inning with a five run lead over the Minnesota Twins.

That all changed though when Aaron Crow surrendered a three run home run to Trevor Plouffe. Holland then was inserted into the game.

Holland made quick work of Chris Parmelee on a ground out and Kurt Suzuki via a fly ball. He now has a sparking 1.84 ERA to go along with his league high 38 saves in 40 chances.
