Suspended New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez is working out as he aims for his return to baseball in 2015.
Rodriguez, 39, has been working out at both the University of Miami and at UCLA according to George A. King of the New York Post.
Obviously Rodriguez is not about to just walk away from the game. He has three years and $61 million owed to him by the Yankees. Even Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner has already talked about a return of Rodriguez to the lineup.
Rodriguez has been taking ground balls at third base and even took swings off a tee.
In 44 games last season Rodriguez hit .244/.348/.423 with seven home runs and 19 RBI.
