The NASCAR Nationwide Series will run the Subway Firecracker 250 on Friday night from the famed Daytona International Speedway.
A field of 40 cars will take the green flag for Friday’s race with Dakoda Armstrong on the pole. Trevor Bayne will join him on the front row for this 100 lap race which makes up 250 miles.
Last year Matt Kenseth won this race while Regan Smith won the 2014 season opening race here in February.
Coverage of the Subway Firecracker 250 at Dayton powered by Coca-Cola will air on ESPN2 beginning at 7:30 pm ET with the green flag set to wave at 7:46 pm ET.
