The Boston Red Sox are expected to be without first baseman Mike Napoli for multiple games.
Napoli was not in the lineup for the Red Sox for Saturday’s game and is expected to miss a few more games as he deals with what has been termed “finger and other ailments.”
Mike Carp should see time at first in Napoli’s absence.

After a slow start Napoli has rebounded. In 43 games this season he owns a .260/.390/.416 line with five home runs and 22 RBI.
