The Dallas Cowboys have pushed a decision about DeMarcus Ware down the line for seasons. During that time the defensive lineman was one of the best in the NFL.
Now the 31-year-old Ware is coming off a season in which he dealt with injuries and a drop in play. The Cowboys pressed for cap space have informed Ware that he needs to take a paycut.
Ware is due $12.25 million this season and will county a whopping $13.75 million against the cap. While the Cowboys restructured the deals of Tony Romo, Sean Lee and Orlando Scandrick the same will not happen this season for Ware.
The #Cowboys contacted DeMarcus Ware today to let him know they definitely wanted to keep him. But not at $13M per year. Decision time.
