The Chicago Cubs continue to be one of the teams interested in Masahrio Tanaka.
Ken Rosenthal suggests that the Cubs are “pushing hard” to land the Japanese right hander.
There has not been a lot of talk about the financials of a deal for Tanaka but with the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels, Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners and Arizona Diamondbacks also interested the 25-year-old should get a hefty sum.
Sources: #Cubs pushing hard for Tanaka. #Angels remain involved, along with others previously mentioned – #Yankees, #Dodgers, etc.
