Mike Woodson, New York Knicks Coach, has led the Knicks to nine straight losses tying them with last play in the Eastern Conference, The Milwaukee Bucks.

Knicks Owner, James Dolan, has given the warning to Woodson explaining he could be removed from the Knicks if the losing streak continues according to sources. Woodson is expected to coach on Thursday against the struggling Brooklyn Nets.

Dolan will have to do something to help give the Knicks any chance of playing in the post season. It’s not a matter of will he do it, it’s when or who will he get rid of.

A nine game losing streak marks the longest lost streak for the Knicks since the 2005-2006 NBA season when they eventually only won 23 games.

Iman Shumpert has been thrown into the trade rumors after throwing a commotion a few days ago. Shumpert could be the first person gone in New York if Woodson isn’t gone. Keep in mind a few weeks ago Shumpert was defending Woodson.

With Woodson on the hot seat, the Knicks have already expressed interest in hiring Jeff Van Gundy as head coach. The coaching position might not be the only issue in the “Big Apple”, Coaches can only control players off the hardwood, but players make the decisions on the court.
