The San Francisco Giants re-signed reliever Javier Lopez to a new three-year contract.

Lopez, 36, will make $13 million over the course of the contract. All signs pointed to the left hander returning to the Giants. Lopez will make $4 million over the next two seasons before earning $5 million in 2016.

Last season Lope made $4.25 million while compiling a 1.83 ERA and 37/12 K/BB ratio over 39 1/3 innings of work.
