Vince Carter has been given a one-game suspension for throwing an elbow at Steven Adams on Wednesday. Carter will miss Friday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Carter, 36, has appeared in five games this season averaging 9.2 PPG, 2.4 RPG and 2 APG.

With Carter out the Dallas Mavericks will likely give Jae Crowder more minutes tonight. Crowder has been playing well lately with 17 and 18 points in each of his last two games.
